LAVAN Investments · Submit an opportunity
What to tell us, and what happens next.
A short note is enough to begin. This page sets out what to include, what to leave out, and how an opportunity is considered.
What to include
Five things.
A few sentences on each is plenty.
- The company
- Its name, country and sector, and how to reach you.
- The business
- What it does and how it currently operates.
- Scale and history
- Revenue range and operating history, if you choose to share them.
- The opportunity
- A commercial partnership, growth capital, or an ownership discussion.
- The outcome
- The main challenge, and what you want to be true afterwards.
What to leave out
Please do not send these.
Sensitive documents are exchanged later, under a confidentiality agreement, through a controlled channel.
Bank statements
Or any account details.
Accounts and tax records
Audited or otherwise.
Identity documents
Passports, national IDs, or similar.
Customer lists
Or other confidential commercial information.
What happens next
How an opportunity is considered.
- 01
We read it
Every submission is read by a person at LAVAN.
- 02
A first screen
We compare it with what we look for: business quality, evidence, management, economics and governance.
- 03
A first conversation
If there is a possible fit, we reply to arrange one. If there is not, we say so.
- 04
Confidentiality
Before any sensitive document is shared, both sides sign a confidentiality agreement.
- 05
Evaluation
A fuller examination, at a pace agreed with you.
Contacting LAVAN, or submitting an opportunity, is not an offer to invest, a financing commitment, or an agreement to provide advisory services. LAVAN Investments is not a fund.
